Hall voltage and current sensors are mainly used for industrial control and independent voltage and current measurement, therefore, they are generally not nominal and power measurement accuracy is closely related to the angular difference index, so it is not applicable to high-precision power measurement.
With the development of frequency conversion technology and energy saving technology, it is necessary to accurately evaluate the energy efficiency of various types of frequency conversion speed control devices, while electromagnetic voltage and current transformers can generally only accurately measure the power of the industrial frequency sinusoidal circuit. The new frequency conversion power sensor, is a voltage, current combination sensor, this type of sensor direct output digital quantity, and the use of optical fiber for transmission, can effectively avoid the transmission link loss and interference. And in a wide frequency range with a small ratio difference and angular difference, can accurately measure all kinds of variable frequency power (voltage, current, power and harmonics, etc.). It is widely used in product inspections and energy efficiency evaluations of hybrid electric vehicles, electric cars, solar power generation, wind power generation, inverters, inverter motors and fuel cells.

1. Fiber optic current sensor based on smart grid
The new fiber optic current sensor is the product of the rapid development of science and technology of the smart grid. China has launched the XDGDL-1 fiber optic current sensing system, which realizes the full digital closed-loop control of the pipeline current sensing system with good stability and linearity, high sensitivity, etc., and meets the requirements for high-precision measurement of a large range of ranges.
At the same time, the system develops a field-windable telescopic structure, which is easy to install, avoids the interference of stray magnetic field, and the measurement error of busbar eccentricity is less than plus or minus 0.1%. It realizes a high-precision signal conversion scheme, which provides high-precision analog signals and standard digital communication interfaces for the rectifier control equipment.
2. Current sensor based on TMR (Tunneling Magneto Resistance) effect:
TMR magnetic induction technology was first industrially applied in the field of computer hard disk in 2004, which made a qualitative leap in hard disk storage density, and single-disk terabyte-class storage hard disk entered the civilian market. After nearly 10 years of development, TMR technology is still alive and well, and the TMR magnetic induction effect is similar to Hall technology, which is considered the fourth generation of magnetic induction technology. Sensitivity, resolution, power consumption, and temperature characteristics are all improved by a factor of 10 or more. Full chip-level process control provides reliable quality and reasonable price. Now some domestic manufacturers are starting to launch TMR technology current sensors. Current sensing based on TMR chip manufacturing can have excellent performance in high sensitivity, temperature stability, anti-interference, miniaturization, integration, intelligence and low power consumption.
3. Industrial upgrading and development to promote the improvement of current sensors
Driven by the upgrading of China's industrial development, the safety of power equipment is increasingly emphasized. As a tool with both protective and monitoring functions, current sensor will play a more important role in the future power grid. Compared with similar products abroad, there is still a big gap in the domestic current sensor technology to be bridged and improved.
